In fact, you can play the same song or different songs in as many rooms as you'd like. Simultaneously. No other digital music system lets you do that. If you're still wondering why we called it a ZonePlayer rather than a room player, the answer is simple: a room doesn't always define the space where you want to listen to music - think living room and dining room, not to mention your garden, garage and swimming pool.



Built-in wireless capability
Connects ZonePlayers wirelessly when a wired Ethernet connection is not available. NOTE:The first ZonePlayer you install must connect to your home network using a standard Ethernet cable.

Playback of popular audio file types
Native Support for compressed MP3, WMA, AAC (MPEG4), Ogg Vorbis, and Flac (lossless) music files as well as uncompressed WAV and AIFF files. Firmware upgradable to support future audio formats. DRM-encrypted and Apple or WMA Lossless formats not currently supported.

Playback of Internet radio
Plays Internet radio stations using 'streaming MP3' format. ZonePlayer comes with over 70 pre-programmed radio stations and it's simple to add more.

Playlists Supported
iTunes, WinAmp, Windows Media Player and MusicMatch (.m3u, .pls, .wpl)

Internet Radio Requirements
Internet connection required for access to Internet radio stations and online software updates (DSL, cable modem or LAN-based high-speed Internet connection recommended.)
