FeaturesZonePlayers are wireless music players that distribute and play all the music you want, all over your house. ZonePlayers can go in absolutely any room where you want music — either connected to speakers or to your existing audio equipment.
Technical SpecificationsThe Sonos® ZonePlayer™ brings great sounding music to any and every room in your house-regardless of where your music collection is stored. And we do mean every room. In fact, you can play the same song or different songs in as many rooms as you'd like. Simultaneously. No other digital music system lets you do that. If you're still wondering why we called it a ZonePlayer rather than a room player, the answer is simple: a room doesn't always define the space where you want to listen to music - think living room and dining room, not to mention your garden, garage and swimming pool.
Built-in wireless capability Connects ZonePlayers wirelessly when a wired Ethernet connection is not available. NOTE:The first ZonePlayer you install must connect to your home network using a standard Ethernet cable. Multi-zone synchronous playback Plays the same song simultaneously in different zones without echoes or delays. Multi-stream playback Plays different songs simultaneously in different zones. Tone and volume controls adjustable for each zone Optimise sound performance for each zone using zone-specific bass, treble, balance and loudness controls. Adjust volume by zone or group of zones. Built-in, powerful amplifier Powers large or small speakers with 50W per channel amplifier. Subwoofer output with automatic crossover Requires no adjustment of system settings when adding a subwoofer in a zone. Radiant cooling Operates silently - all you hear is the music. Automatic set up Automatic wired or wireless set up. Initialise new ZonePlayers with one button-press. Expandable system design Allows you to expand your multi-room music system room by room.
